Ingredients
Four carefully selected ingredients working in harmony.
Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia)
The most studied essential oil in pets. Acts as a mild anxiolytic without sedative effects. Tolerated in adult dogs and cats at low concentrations.
⚠️ Only angustifolia species — never spica or lavandin.
Roman Chamomile (Anthemis nobilis)
Natural anti-stress with anti-inflammatory properties. Low allergenic potential. One of the safest oils for sensitive skin.
Frankincense (Boswellia carterii)
Promotes emotional balance. Low reactivity profile. Suitable for adult pets.
⚠️ Only carterii or serrata species — never sacra.
Coconut Oil
Carrier oil that dilutes the essential oils to safe concentrations for topical and aromatic use.
Tolerance Test
A mandatory tolerance test is required before first use. Every pet has individual sensitivity.
Apply 1 drop behind your ear (not the pet's) and let your pet perceive the scent from at least 1 meter away.
Observe your pet for 15–20 minutes. Expected: sniffing with curiosity, relaxing, or ignoring the scent.
Alert signs of rejection: excessive salivation, compulsive face rubbing, vocalizing, moving away quickly, vomiting or sudden lethargy.
If any alert sign appears, ventilate the space and discontinue use. Consult a vet if symptoms persist more than 1 hour.
If your pet tolerates the scent at distance after 20 minutes, you may progress to closer application over the following days.
How to Apply Safely
We recommend indirect aromatherapy, especially during the first weeks of use. Always allow your pet a way to move away from the scent.
Recommended for First Use
RecommendedApply 1 drop to the inside of your wrist or behind your ear. Your pet perceives the scent when interacting with you — no direct contact with their skin.
Established Use
Apply to fabric collars, scarves or bandanas your pet wears regularly. The product stays close but without prolonged direct contact.
Advanced Use
AdvancedAfter several weeks of successful use with methods 1 & 2, apply 1 drop to the base of the neck — in an area where they cannot lick. For dogs only.
Always provide an escape route. Pet aromatherapy only works if the animal has the option to move away from the scent. Never force exposure.
When NOT to Use
Safety is our priority. Do not use SERENE in the following cases:
Puppies or kittens under 12 weeks of age
Pregnant or nursing females
Pets with epilepsy, asthma, COPD or chronic respiratory conditions
Pets with cancer under treatment or immunosuppressed
Pets with irritated skin, open wounds or active dermatitis
Birds, reptiles, fish, rodents and rabbits — this line is exclusively for dogs and cats
Pets with a history of reactions to fragrances or cosmetic products
As a substitute for veterinary treatment for severe anxiety, phobias or behavioral disorders
